Mesenteric panniculitis (MP) is a benign disease affecting the mesentery’s fatty tissue, characterized by fibrosis, recurrent inflammation, and necrosis of adipose tissue. The exact cause is still unknown, and diagnosis typically relies on computed tomography (CT) scans, often confirmed through surgical biopsies. This study presents a rare case of MP in a patient presenting with ileus without any identifiable causative factors.
