Aims and scope

Panminerva Medica is a quarterly international, peer-reviewed scientific Journal on Internal Medicine,
founded in 1959, which is indexed in BIOSIS Previews, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, EMBASE,
PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Scopus, and has an Impact Factor of 5.197.
The Journal publishes scientific papers on internal medicine and its purpose is to share medical information
from an international perspective in order to help physicians, health care workers, public officials and other
relevant personnel in many geographic areas. Panminerva Medica also aims to provide its readers with
papers of the highest quality thanks to a fast and thorough peer review process, careful editorial work as
well as open access options.
Panminerva Medica welcomes articles on a wide variety of medical topics, which may be submitted in the
form of editorials, original articles, review articles, special articles, letters to the Editor and guidelines.
