Aims and scope

Minerva Dental and Oral Science is a bi-monthly international, peer-reviewed scientific journal on Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, founded in 1952, which is indexed in CAB, EMBASE, Emerging Sources Citation Index, Index to Dental Literature, PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus.
Minerva Dental and Oral Science is the Official Journal of SIOCMF (Società Italiana di Odontoiatria e Chirurgia Maxillo-Facciale), and publishes articles related to the field of Dentistry with special focus on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, Dental Materials, Prosthodontics, Conservative, Endodontics and Orthodontics, with focus also on Oral Health, Operative Dentistry and Dental Epidemiology.
The aim is to influence the practice of clinicians, researchers and industries and provide its readers with papers of the highest quality thanks to a fast and thorough peer review process, careful editorial work as well as open access options.
Minerva Dental and Oral Science welcomes articles on a wide variety of topics related to the area of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, which may be submitted in the form of original articles, review articles, technical reports, editorials, letters to the Editor and guidelines.
