Aims and scope

The Italian Journal of Laboratory Medicine (La Rivista Italiana della Medicina di Laboratorio), a quarterly international, peer-reviewed scientific journal on Laboratory Medicine, indexed in Scopus, is the official journal of the Italian Society of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (SIPMeL).
The Italian Journal of Laboratory Medicine (La Rivista Italiana della Medicina di Laboratorio) publishes contributions in the form of original articles, reviews, clinical cases and letters, in Italian or English, on clinical, experimental and diagnostic techniques related to the various disciplines of Laboratory Medicine.
The journal aims to constitute a useful reference for the activity of Italian laboratories by promoting the knowledge and quality of laboratory diagnostics through scientific research and the dissemination of recommendations and guidelines.
The Journal offers a fast and rigorous peer review process as well as open access options.
The Italian Journal of Laboratory Medicine welcomes articles on a wide variety of topics related to laboratory medicine.
