Aims and scope

Minerva Surgery, a bi-monthly international, peer-reviewed scientific journal which focuses on all aspects of surgical sciences and other correlated medical sciences.
Minerva Surgery, was founded in 1946 by Professor Tomaso Oliaro and ranks among the most important and most read journals in the field.
The journal is indexed in EMBASE, PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Scopus and the current Impact Factor is 1.8.
Minerva Surgery publishes scientific papers on all aspects of surgical sciences and other correlated medical sciences, pre- and post-operative problems and other issues. It also publishes interesting monographic issues dealing with the most important themes in these fields.
An international Editorial Board contributes to the journal’s high reputation throughout the academic world.
Manuscripts may be submitted in the form of editorials, original articles, review articles, case reports, special articles, letters to the Editor and guidelines.
Minerva Surgery also publishes relevant systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
