Aims and scope

Minerva Respiratory Medicine is a quarterly international, peer-reviewed scientific journal on Diseases of the Respiratory System, founded in 1962, which is indexed in EMBASE, Emerging Sources Citation Index and Scopus.
The main topics of the journal are related to pathophysiology, pharmacology, interventional pulmonology, non-invasive ventilation and intensive care in respiratory diseases, obstructive, restrictive and rare lung diseases, pulmonary oncology, pulmonary hypertension, infectious and immunologic diseases, thoracic surgery and lung transplantation.
The aim of the journal is to influence the practice of clinicians, researchers and industries at an international level and provide its readers with papers of the highest quality thanks to a fast and thorough peer review process, careful editorial work as well as open access options.
Minerva Respiratory Medicine welcomes articles on a wide variety of topics related to Diseases of the Respiratory System, which may be submitted in the form of editorials, original articles, review articles, special articles, letters to the Editor and guidelines.
