Aims and scope

Acta Phlebologica, first published more than twenty years ago under the auspices of Prof. Claudio Allegra, founding
Editor, has grown over the years and is currently the first international journal dedicated to Phlebology and Lymphology
and the official journal of thirteen international phlebological societies around the world.
The aim of this international peer-reviewed scientific journal, issued 3 times per annum, indexed in EMBASE, Emerging
Sources Citation Index, Scopus, is to publish high-quality original papers, studies, reviews, short reports, letters to the
editor covering all aspects of venous and lymphatic diseases.
The journal is of interest not only to medical but also to nursing staff, allied health professionals and scientists.
A highly qualified editorial board and referees allow the journal to achieve its goal of every issue being of increasing quality.
The Journal offers a fast and rigorous peer review process as well as open access options. Acta Phlebologica welcomes
articles on a wide variety of topics related to phlebology and lymphology.
