Osteoblastoma (OB) is a rare benign bone tumor that involves more often the spinal column and the long tubular bones. Skull involvement is less than 20% and its occurrence in the orbit is extremely rare. This tumor is a very uncommon lesion, it represents about 1% of all the primary bone tumors. It is more prevalent in males and young patients (<35 years old). This case report describes a 49-year-old man presenting with acute proptosis and diplopia in the right eye. Surgery remains the only effective treatment of this tumor because of the risk of malignant transformation and recurrence. There are few reports of orbit OB, here we describe our experience and the review the literature.
