Otorhinolaryngology

The opening of English degree courses in Medicine and Surgery in Italian universities is one of the most recent innovations in the panorama of university teaching in the health area. The importance of this didactic openness is that of greater internalization of our universities and greater opportunities for contacts between different countries and knowledge exchange. Therefore, the need has emerged to publish a book of Otolaryngology in English written by Italian authors so that students can more easily fit into the national scientific horizon and facilitate their acquisition of the knowledge required in the language used in the course. The line of this volume is based on a focus on homogeneity in the teaching approach, which is based on a presentation closely linked to the clinic. Much attention has been given to the inclusion of guidelines and the epidemiological relevance of the diseases.
