Is there a place for surgery in acute type B aortic dissection?

Riambau V., Capoccia L.

Vascular Surgery Division, Thorax Institute, Hospital Clínic University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain

PDF

Surgery has been indicated for complicated acute type B aortic dissection. The new endovascular approach by stent-grafting has demonstrated a reduction of mortality and morbidity.
