Acute respiratory distress: the onset of three cancers in pediatric age at the time of the coronavirus pandemic

We described the radiographic and tomographic pulmonary picture of three children came to the emergency room of the “Santobono-Pausilipon” Pediatric Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic with acute respiratory distress, the first clinical manifestation of three unrecognized and already advanced stage cancers: renal cell carcinoma, papillary thyroid carcinoma and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
