Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is uncommon in the Western population, but endemic in Southern China and South East Asia. We report a patient who had NPC of the inferior turbinate. A 65-year-old Chinese gentleman who was previously treated for recurrence NPC was noted to have an asymptomatic mass on the posterior end of the left inferior turbinate 6 months post-treatment on routine follow-up. The use of specific markers and immunohistochemistry staining confirmed the diagnosis of NPC. 1 year post completion of 3rd line chemotherapy, he appeared well with no evidence of new lesion.
