Nonmalignant central airway obstruction: an 18-year-single institution experience

Mechanical central airway obstruction due to a benign etiology is less common than due to a malignant lesion. This review article presents on the causative diagnosis, airway findings, evaluation and management of nonmalignant central airway obstruction based on an 18-year-experience in a single tertiary teaching hospital.
