Changes of the functional condition and reserve capacity of the body in fighters depending on their bioenergetics characteristics

BACKGROUND: One of the main tasks of the functional preparation of wrestlers is the training of the energy supply mechanisms of muscle activity including such functional parameters as power, capacity, recoverability, efficiency, mobilization, and realization of metabolic processes. The aim of this study is to characterize wrestlers’ belonging to bioenergetics groups depending on their weight and changes of the functional condition and reserve capacities during the training process.
METHODS: Functional and reserve capacities of the body were studied using D&K-Test method of the express-diagnostic of functional condition, reserve and adaptation capacities according to A.S. Dushanin.
RESULTS: We registered an increase in the anaerobic metabolic capacity (ANAMC) by 14.99%. The aerobic metabolic capacity increased by 12.08%. The total metabolic capacity increased in wrestlers by 13.79%. The power of creatine phosphate increased by 17.56%. The power of the glycolytic source of energy supply also demonstrated improvement and increased by 16.29% during the experiment. The power of the aerobic source of muscle activity energy supply increased by 11.40%. W TAM increased by 7.85% during the experiment. HR TAM (efficiency of aerobic source utilization) increased by 6.83%.
CONCLUSIONS: The data obtained was analyzed in compliance with the experimental method of wrestlers preparation according to bioenergetic peculiarities. The study of wrestlers of the highest qualification allowed determining the predominance of 2, 3, and 4 bioenergetic groups.
