Lower limb fractures, typical in younger people, are often associated with polytrauma followed by traumatic shock. Definitive external fixation may be chosen due to onset of infection, or as a tactic for management of severe lesions. The rate of deformity complications in complex fractures is significantly increase. The aim of this study is to expose a technique that correct axis deviation without surgery, reducing perioperative complications and costs. Our study group was a retrospective cohort of five patients (average age 41 years) with tibial deformity founded during external fixation treatment (average 36.5 days from the trauma). At the clinical follow-up, two TSF rings with six oblique struts is connected on monoaxial or circular (Orthofix) external fixator. Correction deformities via an external hexapod fixator is possible in average of 16.25 days, without considerable complication. In a historical period of economic crisis, we recommend the correction of complex fractures deformities with a simple no-surgical technique.
