Impingement femoro-acetabolare e ernia da sport: associazione, eziopatogenesi e prevenzione

The CAM type femoral acetabular impingement may be the predisposing cause the onset of sports hernia, as well of osteitis pubis or abductor or rectus -abductor tendinopathy. This study considers the possible nosological frameworks responsible for the onset of multifactorial etiology groin pain syndrome, also trying to explain this association in terms of cause and effect relationship. Furthermore we discuss some strategies to prevent and/or control the occurrence of this dysmorphism.
