AIM: The aim of this paper was to explore the importance of combined using of dry chemical method, dreg analyzer, and anti-BMA urine dreg to red cells and white cells testing in urine.
METHODS: As for the urine samples of 600 patients, they were tested with urine dreg analysis, dry chemical analysis, and microscope microscopic analysis and the results were compared.
RESULTS: The positive proportion of the testing results of dry chemical analysis, manual urine dreg cystourethroscopy method, urine dreg analysis, white blood cells (WBCs) tested positive were 25.2%, 31.2%, and 33.5%, while that of red blood cells (RBCs) were 43.2%, 33.0%, and 35.2%. The difference between dry chemical method and two kinds of sediment cytourethroscopy method had statistical significance (P<0.01), and the difference between two kinds of sediment cystourethroscopy method did not have statistical significance (P<0.05).
CONCLUSION: The joint application of urine dreg analyzer, dry chemical method, and microscopy microscopic contributes to improve the detection accuracy.
