Biomedical engineering as a tool for physicians: specification of the new scientific studies with examples from different countries

Biomedical engineering is not an old field of study. It is taught in almost every technological university in the world. There are many degree possibilities, e.g.: Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral (BS, MS, MEng, or PhD). “Modeling biological systems” as a subject is its indispensable part: it is presented in many different ways in different countries. Sometimes, it does not exist in a simple version. This subject will be the author’s guideline in reviewing universities from all over the world which offer biomedical engineering. In this paper, a selection of universities found on the Internet is presented. On the websites, you will find offers of degrees in biocybernetics and biomedical engineering at universities in many countries. However, they are different. The author describes the results of his analyses in this publication.
