The Break-Away Fracture Fixation Mini-System

There are several areas of the maxillofacial skeleton that can be difficult to treat with open reduction and internal fixation from an intraoral approach. We describe a novel technique and a case series of fractures successfully treated with this technique. This system is very useful for the lone surgeon or for cases where there is an experienced surgeon working with a less experienced surgeon.
