Post-traumatic pericarditis (PTP) is an autoimmune syndrome that infrequently occurs following minimally invasive procedures performed via cardiac catheterization. When chest pain and pericardial effusion present after endomyocardial biopsy (EMB), the most frequently encountered problem is cardiac perforation. However, the aforementioned symptoms combined with fever challenges the diagnosis of hemopericardium and should shift the diagnosis towards PTP. In conclusion, we present a case of early onset PTP occurring after EMB in a patient with Fabry disease.
