Aims and scope

Minerva Gastroenterology is a quarterly international, peer-reviewed scientific journal on Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Clinical Nutrition, founded in 1960. It is indexed in CAB, EMBASE, PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Scopus and has an impact factor of 3.186.
The aim of the journal is to provide further insight into mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of gastrointestinal and liver diseases and appropriate and modern treatments of these morbidities, while influencing the practice of clinicians, researchers and industries at an international level and providing its readers with papers of the highest quality thanks to a fast and thorough peer review process, careful editorial work as well as open access options.
Minerva Gastroenterologica e Dietologica welcomes articles on a wide variety of topics related to Clinical Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Hepatology and Pancreatology, which may be submitted in the form of editorials, original articles, review articles, case reports, special articles, letters to the Editor and guidelines.
