The aim of the European Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (EJPRM) is to improve the clinical approach to patients in need of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine in all phases of treatment (acute, post-acute and chronic) and whatever the original disease.
The EJPRM is the official journal of the Italian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SIMFER), European Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM), European Union of Medical Specialists - Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Section (UEMS-PRM) and is published in association with the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM).
The EJPRM is published in association with most of the main European and international bodies of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and publishes some of their position papers.
Moreover, the EJPRM favors an evidence-based clinical practice approach in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, directly through the publication of systematic reviews, and indirectly supporting Cochrane Rehabilitation efforts.
To improve clinical practice, the EJPRM publishes focused Special Sections by high impact authors on specific topics of interest for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine physicians.
