Aims and scope

Chirurgia, an international, peer-reviewed bi-monthly scientific journal on Surgery, founded in 1988, is indexed in EMBASE, Emerging Sources Citation Index, Scopus.
Chirurgia publishes scientific papers on surgery. Manuscripts may be submitted in the form of editorials, original articles, review articles, case reports, therapeutical notes, special articles, letters to the Editor and guidelines.
The journal aims to provide its readers with papers of the highest quality and impact through a process of careful peer review and editorial work.
The Journal offers a fast and rigorous peer review process as well as open access options.
Chirurgia welcomes articles on a wide variety of surgical sciences.
