Metastatic renal cell carcinoma to the right ventricle complicating thrombocytopenia

Solitary ­right ven­tric­u­lar metas­ta­sis of ­renal ­cell car­ci­no­ma is extreme­ly ­rare. Herein, we ­report a sur­gi­cal ­case of met­a­stat­ic ­renal ­cell car­ci­no­ma to ­the ­right ven­tri­cle, asso­ciat­ed ­with an unusu­al pres­en­ta­tion of “a syn­drome resem­bling idiopath­ic throm­bo­cy­to­pen­ic pur­pu­ra”.
