New devices for the treatment of large veins

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a major problem being the third cause of cardiovascular mortality. At the moment there is not a clear consensus about the best treatment in patients with DVT. This article will focus on some current available treatments, such as mechanical thrombectomy and venous stents.
