Interventional radiology in the COVID-19 era: management experience from a tertiary care center in the South of Italy

Significant management and structural changes have been necessary to answer to the COVID-19 emergency. Interventional radiology has played, and it is still playing a relevant role in the treatment and care of COVID-19 patients in both emergent and elective conditions. Aim of this manuscript was to review the management issues and the most relevant procedures that interventional radiologists involved in COVID-19 fighting are applying in the daily practice. We report our experience at Cardarelli Hospital of Naples, South of Italy.
