Pseudoaneurysms of the inferior gluteal artery are uncommon complications after surgical fixation of an intertrochanteric femoral fractures with gamma nail. We report two rare cases of pseudoaneurysm of the inferior gluteal artery arising after insertion of gamma nail in patients with intertrochanteric femoral fracture. Diagnosis of both pseudoaneurysms was performed by Computed Tomography Angiography and subsequent Digital Subtraction Angiography, while treatment was carried out by transcatheter arterial embolization.
