Intestinal malrotation is a congenital condition caused by abnormal rotation and fixation of the bowel during embryonic development. In early infancy before one year of age, the common presentation is bilious vomiting, but in older children it can present with non-specific symptoms, and is a rather rare finding condition. Intussusception is a common finding in children as a cause of intestinal obstruction. When intussusception and malrotation coexist, it is called Waugh Syndrome. We report a case of Waugh Syndrome in a 11-year old child who arrived at Hospital “Santobono-Pausilipon” in Naples with intussusception caused by solitary polyp, associated to malrotation.
