Construction of silicone nasal prosthesis with acrylic baseplate

Obtaining good retention for nasal prosthesis can be challenging due to the location of the nose and the tissue displacement during movement. This article proposes a technique where acrylic baseplate is incorporated on the fitting surface of the prosthesis to improve stability and retention.
