The purpose of this report was to present a case on a patient diagnosed with anorexia nervosa (AN) and how cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure with response prevention can be used as an efficacious form of treatment for geriatric patients. Notable factors in working with an elderly patient are highlighted. The information offered in this report provides direction for future research on the subject.
