The nutritional management of eating disorders

Nutrition is an important part of the treatment of eating disorders because malnutrition is, in part, causal; malnutrition results in morbidity and mortality, successful management requires treatment of malnutrition and the chance of relapse can be reduced by normalization of nutritional and eating behaviour.
