Spanarello S., Amantini K., Colotto A.
The aim of this study was to evaluate, throuth a literature review, the historical evolution of personality disorder concept. For this study we utilised Medlines, old Medlines, MeSH, index (OPAC) and libraries available in Internet. We have evaluated and discussed problems lied to temperament, personality, chracter and trait concepts. We examined, too, the evolution from the systematic and non systematic patho-characterology to the DSM dimensional model, through the phenomenological and psychodynamic concepts.
