The authors present some variants that have contributed to the anterior minimally-invasive approach in prosthetic hip surgery, in order to make the technique even more respectful than anatomical structures and improve the management of the intervention. The method is performed with the patient supine on the normal operating table without applying traction to the limb. The joint capsule is the true element of traction in the articular exposition, to achieve less traumatic effects on the adjacent muscular structures.
