Talar fractures are ''difficult'' fractures since they need a careful instrumental diagnosis for a correct treatment. At present, investigation methods which allow a careful study of fractures, even of the most difficult lesions, are available. The several examinations to be carried out should be planned on the basis of the clinical suspicion and of the treatment to chose.
