Current trends in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction have evolved from the single bundle technique to the use of a double bundle reconstruction method. In the literature several double bundle reconstruction techniques have been described. These techniques differ in terms of the graft types used, the number of tibial tunnels made, and the fixation methods employed. This article focuses on a review and comparison of these different reconstruction methods.
