The treatment includes the bloodless reduction and the synthesis with Kirschner threads within the 24 hours following the trauma, reducing the times of hospitalization of patients and improving notably their compliance.
Results. The results obtained were good in 88 patients (91%), with axial deviation in 5 patients (5%), calcifications in 2 patients (2%), hypertrophic callus in two patients (2%).
Conclusion. These satisfactory results lead to the conclusion that such treatment, even it it asks for a asking for a greater effort from the health operators and the hospital structure, is highly advisable.
