Elbow osteoarthritis (OA) has historically been treated either by conservative nonoperative means or with open joint debridement or joint replacement. Recently, however, interest has focused upon minimally invasive procedures such as elbow arthroscopy to treat this condition. Reports in the literature now document outcomes after arthroscopic debridement to be similar to those of open procedures with an acceptable complication rate. This manuscript describes the Authors’ indications and techniques for arthroscopic management of elbow OA.
