Confalonieri N., Manzotti A.
I U.O. di Ortopedia e Traumatologia, C.T.O. Istituti Clinici di Perfezionamento, Milano
The authors present an update review in computer-assisted hip replacement surgery. They report how the evolution in computer-assisted techniques permits navigation in placement of both acetabular an femural components. At present, the computer-assisted hip replacement surgery offers the possibility to achieve good alignment in cup placement, limb length discrepancy and femoral offset. The authors reviewed their 5-year experience in computer-assisted hip replacement including the most updated hip resurfacing implants.
