Design options and current fixation alternatives in total knee arthroplasty

More patients are undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) each year. Active and young patients continue to be a challenge. In order to hopefully improve implant survival new designs are constantly being developed. This paper will review the results of various fixation methods and designs of TKA
