A lethal assault by three Rottweiler dogs

A case of a lethal assault of a 50-year-old woman by three Rottweiler dogs occurred in Bologna, is reported. The necroscopical inquiries and the criminal trial are presented. They describe Rottweiler dog assault characteristics and underline the aspects that the similar to the few cases reported in the literature, confirming the particular victim type (children or elderly women, usually known to the dog) and the familiar assault scene.
