Two unusual cases of death at wotk caused by road accidents
Rossi P., Zaami S.
Based on the report of two road accidents characterised principally by the ''guillotining'' of the lower limbs due to crushing against the load platform of a truck, the authors point out that necroscopic findings are not limited to the need to reconstruct the lethal dynamics, but should also take into consideration the survey data and the examination of the vehicles involved (where known), in addition to the search for any biological traces relating to the victims. Lastly, they examine the possible configuration of the cases reported in terms of indemnifiable accidents at work.
