Practical suggestions for shoulder lesion
Curto O.
SOC Medicina Legale ASL CN2, Alba, Cuneo, Italia
In medical practice, shoulder rehabilitation presents very complex and peculiar aspects, because of joint’s wide range of motion on every plane. That is also the reason why, in the great majority of cases, shoulder lesions involve soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments) and just quite rarely bone fractures occur. Duration of rehabilitation program is influenced by the type of lesion occurred and the chosen treatment (surgical or conservative), but also by patients’ age, lifestyle and comorbidity. However, the duration of rehabilitation period differs from patient to patient, because of the different compliance to treatment.
