Porta D., Cattaneo C., Gibelli D. M., Giudici E., Grandi M.

PDF

Since centuries facial reconstruction has been the object of intense discussions; this study reports the experiences of Labanof, Laboratory of Forensic Anthropology and Odontology in Milan. Results obtained show that this method sometimes provided a real aid to investigations even if it is not an identification technique. Appropriate divulgation of this method’s results and in depth a study of elements which provoke the mental process of identification could increase the chance of recognizing unidentified.
