Research­ers are begin­ning to use a ­wide ­range of ­fluors in micro­ar­ray experi­ments. A par­tial ­list (­derived ­from the lit­er­a­ture, dis­cus­sion ­with col­leagues, ­rumors, etc.) ­includes ­FITC, ­Alexa ­Fluor™ 488, 532, 546, 568 & 594, FAM, JOE, Cy3, tet­ra­meth­yl­rhod­a­mine, TAM­RA, ROX, Tex­as Red, BOD­IPY and Cy5. ­Here we ­review a set of ­papers ­where mul­ti­ple ­fluors are ­used in SNP gen­o­typ­ing and pro­tein ­arrays.
