The fabrication of biominerals, such as bone, involves the construction of preorganized organic frameworks that are used as polymer matrix for the formation of nanoscale inorganic crystals. Biomineralized structures can be further assembled by cellular processing in higher-order configurations. Biomineralization of hydroxyapatite calcium (HA) in alginate (ALG) matrix can provide useful archetypes for homogenous chondroblasts from hyaline cartilaginous tissue. The aim of this work was to study the influence of high- and low molecular carbohydrates on the HA crystallization, structures and stability of HA-ALG beads in MEM-serum solutions by FTIR, SEM, and XRD methods. The way of cultivating with the use of stable HA-ALG beads allows get a large amount of proliferating cells, saving their phenotype and synthesizing extracellular matrix.
