In the present review, we shall discuss how immunotherapy has, over the last 15 years, become a prominent part of the therapeutic armamentarium for different types of hematological malignancies. We will also focus on new prospects in rapid and promising development, as well as on possibilities of inducing immune-mediated recognition of leukemia and lymphoma cells.
