Acute ophthalmoparesis has been described following infection or immunization I report a case of ophthalmoparesis with antecedent infection of Epstein-Barr virus, without ataxia, that was negative for anti-GM1 antibodies and positive for anti-GQ1b antibodies. Epstein-Barr virus infection is related to ophthalmoparesis development.
