Methodology for the evaluation of reading performance in the low vision patients

Reading is one of the most representative expression of the near-visual function. Moreover, low vision patients, as their most important demand, ask if possible, to able to be read again. Within the rehabilitation process it is therefore fundamental to determine the best methodology to evaluate the patients' progress. The methodology used during 7 years of clinical experience is described.
