Cardiac size with left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy change a year after cardiac resynchronization therapy-defibrillation

Left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy is a special type of abnormal myocardial disease with unknown etiology and pathogenesis. There are no clear guidelines for its etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. A case of left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy with cardiac resynchronization therapy-defibrillation was reported and one year of follow-up showed significant improvement in cardiac function, decreased cardiac shadow and no embolism.
