Anthropometric observations and astonishing strength of the lower limbs in young men playing football

We consider 76 boys playing in junior football team of FIGC; they are aged between 10 and 16 years.
Anthropometric parameters analyzed are: weight, height, body mass index, bisacromial and bisilium diameters; motor ability ones are limbs power jumps (squatting jump, counter movement jump, free jump).
Results show that:
1) anthropometric data and their trend are in according to the literature;
2) strentch improve and neuromuscolar development during puberal period support the relationship between jump test results and chronological age.
